About the Role

We are a small business working within the stage automation sector. As a Site Automation Engineer, you will install and maintain automation systems, providing technical expertise to optimize processes.

You will be responsible for leading a small team, installing and troubleshooting systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Duties include:
Updating systems, running reports, investigations and repairs of automated systems
Resolve electrical and mechanical issues
Perform testing and calibration for hoists, motors, drivers, sensors and actuators
Use PLC programming tools and specialized theatre control systems.
Work with other engineers and team members

Skills & Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering
Driving license & OHS white card (essential)
Welding experience / qualification (essential)
Strong knowledge of industrial networks, control systems, and instrumentation
Expertise in troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintaining automation systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
