About Our Client

Our client is a large and highly respected organisation operating within a complex workforce environment. Following a period of significant change, they are now looking for an experienced Payroll Support Officer to assist with operational support, administrative workloads and payroll service delivery.

Job Description
Support the Payroll Team with a broad range of payroll activities
Process employee and worker set-up requests within Oracle and PeopleSoft
Assist with onboarding activities including system access and employment record creation
Manage high volumes of payroll-related tickets through the digital workflow platform
Monitor and allocate tasks through the payroll ticketing system
Maintain employee and non-employee records accurately and efficiently
Support payroll processing activities and assist with data validation
Respond to payroll enquiries from employees, managers and stakeholders
Assist with managing large volumes of casual worker administration
Support the administration of visiting contractors and other system users requiring access
Maintain payroll records, documentation and shared databases




Assist with backlog remediation activities and payroll data clean-up
Work collaboratively with Payroll, HR and operational stakeholders to ensure service levels are maintained
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in payroll administration, payroll support or HR administration
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Experience managing workflow queues, ticketing systems or service requests
Exposure to Oracle, PeopleSoft or similar HRIS/payroll platforms
Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
Confidence working through backlogs and process-driven workloads
Robust Microsoft Excel and Office skills
