Yard Manager – Optimus Scaffolding

Optimus Scaffolding is looking for a reliable and organised Yard Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our scaffolding yard.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operation, organisation and cleanliness of the yard.
Coordinate loading, unloading, deliveries and collections of scaffolding equipment.
Manage and maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular stocktakes.
Check returned gear, identify damaged or missing equipment and organise repairs or replacements.
Prepare and send gear lists for upcoming jobs and ensure the correct equipment is ready for dispatch.
Work closely with project managers, scaffold crews and drivers to ensure jobs are supplied on time.
Supervise and coordinate yard staff.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, efficiency and organisation.

Essential Requirements
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse,



scaffolding or construction workplace.
Good computer skills are essential. The role requires the ability to prepare and send gear lists, update stock records, complete stocktakes, manage spreadsheets and communicate via email.
Solid organisational and time-management skills.
Positive communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Must have White Card.
Must have Forklift licence.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
