Role Description The Professional Photographer roles at GFP Events are casual, on-site positions based in the Greater Brisbane Area. In this role, the photographer will capture high-quality images at graduation ceremonies and other events, including posed portraits, group photos, and candid moments. Daily tasks include preparing and testing equipment, coordinating with event staff, setting up lighting and backdrops, managing queues of graduates and guests,



and ensuring effective photo workflows.

The role also involves maintaining equipment, adhering to event schedules, following brand and style guidelines, and providing a skilled, friendly experience to all attendees.

Qualifications
Solid technical photography skills, including proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and studio setups.
Experience in event and portrait photography, ideally in high-volume environments such as graduations, school photography, or corporate events.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to interact with graduates, families, and university staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Ability to work in office for extended periods, stand for long hours, and manage a fast-paced schedule while maintaining attention to detail.
Reliable transportation to event locations in the Greater Brisbane Area and flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and peak graduation periods.
Relevant training or qualification in photography, visual arts, or a related field is advantageous; equivalent professional experience is highly valued.
