About the role

You will become the central relationship point for Sharewise's Chinese private-client network. A major part of the role will involve meeting investors personally, understanding their investment interests and developing genuine long-term relationships. You will work directly with Sharewise senior management, the wealth team and the Corporate Finance & ECM division to develop a high-quality network of private investors interested in Australian equities, portfolio management and selected capital-markets prospects.

Key responsibilities
Build relationships with Chinese and Chinese-Australian HNW investors
Develop recent private wealth and portfolio-management relationships
Build a sophisticated and wholesale investor network for appropriate ECM opportunities
Organise private investor dinners, CEO presentations and investment events
Develop referral relationships with accountants, lawyers, business owners, family offices and other qualified networks
Introduce suitable investors to Sharewise advisers and investment professionals
Work alongside Sharewise Capital on appropriate corporate and ECM opportunities
Grow the network through referrals and introductions




Develop Mandarin-language investor communications and content
Create a premium private-client experience for the Chinese investor community

About you
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Highly polished and professional
Confident dealing with HNW and sophisticated investors
An outstanding relationship builder
Commercially minded and entrepreneurial
Comfortable hosting dinners and networking events
Highly organised with robust follow-up discipline
Interested in equities, investment markets and corporate transactions
Able to develop relationships over months and years rather than focusing solely on immediate transactions
An existing network within Australia's Chinese HNW or business community would be highly regarded
