GDP Group is a national facilities management and construction business with operations across height safety, building maintenance units, façade care and construction. We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support accurate accounting, financial reporting and analysis across our business.

The role

· Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and management reports.

· Analyse revenue, costs, margins and variances across projects and operating divisions, and present findings to management.

· Support annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.

· Maintain general ledger accuracy and coordinate month end and year end close.

· Review BAS and GST reconciliations and support statutory reporting in conjunction with external advisers.

· Review accounts payable and receivable information and strengthen financial controls and reporting processes.

· Work with operational managers to interpret financial results and support business decisions.

What you will bring

· A bachelor degree in accounting,



commerce or a closely related field.

· At least two years of relevant skilled accounting experience with financial reporting, reconciliations and analysis.

· Solid Excel skills and the ability to explain financial results clearly.

· Knowledge of Australian accounting requirements, GST, BAS and internal controls.

· Experience with MYOB and Simpro, or comparable systems, is advantageous.

· A careful, organised approach and ability to work with managers across multiple business units.
