JS Careers is pleased to be partnering with a leading global private markets investment firm to appoint an Associate within its Sydney-based Infrastructure investment team.

The firm has an established track record investing across private equity, infrastructure and other private market strategies globally. Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region represent an important area of growth, with continued investment in expanding the local platform.

The Sydney Infrastructure team invests on behalf of large-scale global infrastructure funds, targeting high-quality businesses and assets across Australia and New Zealand. The strategy provides broad exposure across energy transition and renewables, healthcare, essential services, digital infrastructure and other core infrastructure themes.

Role Responsibilities
Investment origination and deal sourcing across healthcare, energy, digital and technology infrastructure sectors
Transaction execution, including management of advisors and commercial and financial due diligence
Financial analysis,



valuation and modelling for both new and existing investments
Developing investment committee papers and presentations
Providing direction and assistance to management teams of investee companies
Developing and implementing financial and operational strategies

Candidates must also possess the following:
1.5–6 years of investment banking, MBB consulting or direct investment fund experience
Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Commerce, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Engineering and/or Law)
Solid financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities
Demonstrated interest in infrastructure and private markets investing
