About the role

The General Manager will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance of the business, working closely with the Directors, Executive Chef, Sales Manager, F&B; Manager and leadership team. The role encompasses both hotel F&B; operations and premium catering and events business, requiring someone who understands high-volume hospitality as well as high-end service.

Key responsibilities
Strategic business planning for both short med and long term aproach
Knowing how to pivot with the team if there is market demand shift
Oversee the day-to-day operations of hotel F&B;, catering and events
Lead and develop FOH, BOH and operational leadership teams
Ensure consistent service, food quality and guest experience
Oversee restaurant, banquet, function and catering operations
Manage staffing, rostering and labour requirements
Drive operational efficiency, accountability and performance
Ensure events are properly planned and executed from preparation through to completion
Oversee Event Orders, SOPs and operational systems
Manage suppliers,



clients and key hospitality relationships
Build and monitor labour costs, budgets, revenue and operational expenses

About you
Robust hotel F&B; management experience
Previous experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, F&B; Manager, Operations Manager or senior hospitality leader
Experience across restaurants, banquets, conferences, functions and events
Experience managing both front and back of house operations
Proven strong leadership and team management experience
Robust commercial understanding of labour, budgets and cost control
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A hands-on, solutions-focused approach
High standards of service and attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple operations in a quick-paced environment
