About the role

Manage retail and commercial shopfitting projects from pre-construction to completion, coordinating trades, sub-contractors, and site teams across Australia. You will be responsible for keeping projects on time and within budget, reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, and ensuring all site work meets high safety and quality standards. Daily communication with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders is essential, with flexibility to work across different Australian locations and interstate travel required.

Key responsibilities
Manage retail and commercial shopfitting projects from pre-construction to completion
Coordinate trades, sub-contractors, and site teams
Keep projects on time and within budget
Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Ensure all site work meets high safety and quality standards
Communicate with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders daily
Work flexibly across different Australian workplaces as required for fitouts
Undertake interstate travel as required

About you
Diploma or above in interior design, building studies, architecture, or Certificate IV / Trade qualification
At least 6 years solid experience in Fitting-Out projects, Shopfitting and Commercial Fitouts




At least 3 years experience at managerial level
Proven experience as a Project Manager in shopfitting or commercial construction
Joinery experience would be an advantage
Solid knowledge of building codes, safety rules, and construction methods
Great problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work in a rapid paced setting with possible multiple jobs at once
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Valid driver's license and White Card
