Female Disability Support Worker SIL & Complex Behaviour Support in Dromana VIC

Pay: AUD $32–$45 per hour

YAY Today is seeking an experienced female Disability Support Worker for a Supported Independent Living (SIL) role in Dromana. We’re looking for someone who can provide consistent, respectful support to a participant with complex behaviour support needs.

What you’ll do
Support daily living and personal care in line with the participant’s support plan.
Follow agreed positive behaviour support strategies and respond calmly to signs of distress.
Encourage choice, independence and a comfortable home workplace.
Complete accurate shift notes and promptly communicate changes or concerns.

Essential requirements




Hands-on SIL experience and experience supporting people with complex behaviour
Confidence following an individual behaviour support plan
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and eligibility to work in Australia
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them before starting

A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Community Services is preferred. Apply through Indeed with your resume and a brief description of your SIL and complex behaviour support experience.
