Disability Support Worker – Tallarook, VIC | Up to 20 Hours per Week

Grace Quality Care is looking for a calm, patient and dependable support worker to assist a young adult in Tallarook. The role offers up to 20 hours per week, with days and times to be discussed.

The person you will support is autistic and perks from explicit communication, predictable routines and someone who takes time to listen. You will help them build independence while respecting their interests, choices and pace.

Support may include
Planning and following daily routines
Prompting with everyday tasks and personal care
Building social confidence and accessing the community
Supporting strategies for stress and sensory overwhelm
Practising skills for study, work and greater independence





We are looking for someone with a mature, understanding approach who can build a consistent working relationship. Experience supporting autistic young adults, particularly with sensory needs or trauma informed care, would be valuable.

Applicants should have an NDIS Worker Screening Check, a driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, and be able to travel to Tallarook. Please apply with a brief outline of your experience and weekly availability.

Pay: $40.00 per hour
