Job Description

GDP Group is a national facilities management and construction business with operations across height safety, building maintenance units, façade care and construction. We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support accurate accounting, financial reporting and analysis across our business.

Key Responsibilities

The role
Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and management reports.
Analyse revenue, costs, margins and variances across projects and operating divisions, and present findings to management.
Support annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
Maintain general ledger accuracy and coordinate month end and year end close.
Review BAS and GST reconciliations and support statutory reporting in conjunction with external advisers.




Review accounts payable and receivable information and strengthen financial controls and reporting processes.
Work with operational managers to interpret financial results and support business decisions.

Skill & Experience
A bachelor degree in accounting, commerce or a closely related field.
At least two years of relevant qualified accounting experience with financial reporting, reconciliations and analysis.
Robust Excel skills and the ability to explain financial results clearly.
Knowledge of Australian accounting requirements, GST, BAS and internal controls.
Experience with MYOB and Simpro, or comparable systems, is advantageous.
A careful, organised approach and ability to work with managers across multiple business units.
