International developer/builder

As a result of a steady pipeline of work, our client, a leading international developer/builder, is seeking an astute CA with at least 3 years experience in multi-residential developments.

Key responsibilities include:
Negotiating with subcontractors to secure favourable terms
Managing procurement process
Cost reporting and forecasting
Assessing progress claims and managing subcontractor payments
Preparing a detailed scope of works
Managing and administering subcontracts for high-end residential towers, ensuring compliance with the head contract, budget, timelines, and project specifications.
Liaising with consultants and subcontractors, resolving contract-related issues and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Monitoring project budgets, tracking project costs and preparing progress reports, invoices, and payment certificates to ensure financial control and timely settlements.
Processing variations and change orders to maintain budget compliance and prevent cost overruns.




Resolving disputes and ensuring project progress by engaging with stakeholders, leading to on-time and on-budget delivery.

Our ideal applicant will have a minimum of 3 years recent experience in multi-residential apartment projects and a related tertiary qualification in construction. We need a solid communicator with a secure track record and a passion for delivering high-quality projects.

You should be an excellent team player with a solutions focussed, can-do attitude and a drive to succeed. Your ability to read plans and create detailed Excel spreadsheets is crucial to your success.
