About the role

Cosmopolitan Jewellers is an independent Sydney jewellery store specialising in natural Australian Opals and South Sea pearls. We meet customers from around the world and help them choose remarkable pieces to remember their time in Australia. We're looking for an accomplished salesperson who is warm, outgoing and confident with high-value sales. You know how to start a conversation, understand what matters to a customer, present a piece with conviction and ask for the sale.

Key responsibilities
Welcome customers and quickly build a genuine connection.
Discover what they're looking for and guide them through our collections.
Tell the stories behind our jewellery clearly and engagingly.
Confidently handle questions, negotiate and close sales.
Work with the team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding service.

About you
A proven record of robust results in face-to-face sales,



ideally in fine jewellery, luxury retail or another high-value category.
An engaging personality and excellent communication skills.
The confidence to approach customers and lead a sales conversation.
Sound judgement, professionalism and a robust work ethic.
Genuine interest in learning about Australian Opals and South Sea pearls.

Availability to work every second weekend as part of your 4-day roster, or 1 day weekend, every weekend.
Proven sales ability is essential.
