We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant to work closely with Allied Health professionals to support consumers in achieving the goals outlined in their individual treatment plans. The role focuses on promoting independence,
enhancing wellbeing, and supporting consumers to participate in activities that maximise their functional abilities and quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of prescribed therapy programs, monitoring and reporting consumer progress, setting up and maintaining therapy equipment, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring resources are readily available for clinical use. The Allied Health Assistant will also provide administrative support, including managing intake enquiries, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with day-to-day operational tasks. The role requires a person-centred approach, robust communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support services.





The successful candidate will have:
Qualifications as an Allied Health Assistant
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to plan and organise own workload to support the functions of the team
Knowledge of standard infection control precautions and demonstrated application of these principles in the direct client care context
Knowledge of health terminology that describes normal structure and location of major body systems
Current flu vaccination evidence
Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
