About the role

Transport Australia is looking for an organised, proactive and relationship-focused Event Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month contract. Working closely with our Events Manager and broader team, you'll help deliver engaging face-to-face and hybrid events for our members, partners and industry stakeholders. From coordinating speakers and venues to marketing campaigns and onsite delivery, this is a hands-on role where you'll be involved across the full event lifecycle.

Key responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of events
Manage event logistics, timelines, suppliers, speakers, sponsors and venues
Develop event marketing materials, EDMs, social content and promotional campaigns
Monitor attendance, ticket sales, budgets and event performance
Prepare event plans, running sheets, briefs, risk assessments and other event documentation
Provide professional onsite event coordination
Build strong relationships with members, sponsors, attendees and industry stakeholders
Work closely with our Membership and broader teams to continuously improve the event experience

About you




At least 3 years' experience in event coordination
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels
A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach
Experience with CRM, event, marketing or project management platforms
The ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative team player
Flexibility to travel interstate and work occasional evenings for events
Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud/Pardot, Humanitix, Asana or Canva would be an advantage
