Job Description

Conditions: Qualifications/Experience:
Advanced Life Support Level 2 within the last 3 years Duties
Face-to-face or phone clinical handover with last doctor at 0730.
Inpatient ward rounds from 0815 – 0930.
Document daily ward rounds, provide medical care to inpatients, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as required.
Provide medical care to hospital in the home patients.
Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR.
Participate in trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility.
Check pathology and radiology results in the pooled medical results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up results.
Training and supervision of students and junior medical officers.
Participate in morbidity and mortality meetings, MDT meetings and other clinical meetings as requested.
On-Call overnight for ward patients only until 2200.
