Production Operative Opportunity

Location: St Leonards On Sea, East Sussex

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependent on skills and relevant experience)

Type: Full time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Production Operative to build precision test and measurement instruments from start to finish. You will work across electronic, optical, and mechanical assembly, carrying out in-process checks, following technical drawings, and maintaining accurate build records.

Key Requirements
An interest or background in electronic, optical, or mechanical assembly (formal experience is beneficial, but transferable skills from hobbies, modelling, or fine craftwork are equally welcome).




Excellent manual dexterity with a steady hand for fine, small-component work.
Proficiency or comfort using hand tools, soldering irons, and basic test equipment.
A methodical, well-organised approach with exceptional attention to detail.
