About the Role

Lighthouse Christian College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join our team in a full time, 12-month contract position.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach VCE Chemistry alongside Junior Secondary Art and Visual Communication, within a supportive and faith-cantered school community.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in Chemistry and Arts
Plan, assess, and report on student progress
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Contribute to curriculum development and faculty initiatives
Participate in College events, meetings, and co-curricular activities

Desirable (but not essential)
Ability to teach additional Science subjects
Experience with Maker Space or interdisciplinary learning

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:
Hold a current VIT registration
Demonstrate a commitment to child safety
Alignment with Christian values and the College's ethos is an essential requirement for this position
Hold a bachelor's degree with a recognized teaching qualification




Be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent residency visa
