A wonderful prospect exists for a Physiotherapist to join our team at a well-appointed and highly regarded residential aged-care home in Wallsend, Newcastle NSW.
You will manage a varied caseload, helping residents stay active, mobile, and as pain-free as possible through evidence-based physiotherapy and restorative programs.
Full time - 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised care plans
Implement wellness, reablement, and restorative programs
Deliver exercise plans and falls-prevention strategies
Prescribe mobility aids and functional equipment
Participate in professional development and staff education
Conduct seated group exercise classes
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Skills & Experience
Experience in aged care advantageous (current graduates welcome and supported)
Robust clinical reasoning and decision-making
Confident with exercise prescription
Able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Familiar with manual handling equipment
Computer literate with good documentation skills
