Our client, Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a three-month contract, commencing as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care workplace where clinical skill and composure under pressure are essential. The successful candidate will bring solid emergency nursing experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a quick-paced setting.
Work across triage, resuscitation, and acute patient management in a busy ED
Three-month contract position, available to start immediately
Based in Broken Hill, NSW, with a supportive clinical team and structured shift roster

Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department environment




Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
Solid resuscitation skills and the ability to respond effectively in high-acuity situations
Strong clinical communication and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated ongoing career development in emergency nursing
Additional emergency-focused certifications (such as TNCC or ENPC) are advantageous
