Operating Wednesday - Sunday, the Kurrajong Hotel will serve lunch and dinner, expanding into breakfast in coming weeks, making it a true hub for locals and visitors alike.

About the Role /n

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef / Prep Chef to join our dynamic team in Erskineville, New South Wales. This temporary, casual role is essential for delivering high-quality breakfast dishes that delight our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and catering, with a focus on creating delicious and visually appealing meals in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be available to work Saturday - Tuesday breakfast until lunch.

Responsibilities /n

Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.

Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for breakfast service.

/n
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.

/n
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals.

/n
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure all necessary ingredients are available.

/n
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications /n

/n
Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

/n
Robust knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.

/n
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment and under pressure.

/n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

/n
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays

/n
A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential.
