/n Teradata architecture knowledge
/n Knowledge on Data warehousing principles and practices.
/n Teradata SQL knowledge ( critical for the role)
/n Knowledge on Teradata tools and utilities
/n Informatic basic level knowledge
/n Working knowledge on Unix commands
/n Experience on Jams scheduler(preferred) or any other job scheduler tools like Autosys.
/n Knowledge on SVN ( or any code version control tools)
/n Knowledge on Service Now(SNOW) for ticket management
/n Teradata DBA
/n Experience on Teradata Admin activities .
/n Experience working on Teradata Vantage on AWS and Teradata database version upgrades.
/n Knowledge of Viewpoint and different portlets in Viewpoint for system health monitoring
/n Query performance optimization.
/n Knowledge on Data Mover tool for data copy across settings.
/n Co-ordinating with Teradata vendor team(raising tickets etc.) for resolution of DB related issues.
/n Knowledge on data backup and restore process and concepts
