Part-Time / Casual Handyman and Property Maintenance Worker /n

LUMYH is seeking a reliable and practical team member to undertake handyman work, gutter cleaning, gardening, rubbish removal and general property maintenance. This is a part time or casual position, with additional hours potentially available during busy periods.

The right candidate will have the chance to progress to full-time employment. The role includes both independent and team-based work. Applicants must be confident working alone, managing an allocated schedule and completing jobs without direct supervision, while also working cooperatively and safely within a team.

Key responsibilities /n

Minor home repairs, basic carpentry, patching, sealing and assembly

/n
Repairing or replacing doors, locks, handles, flyscreens and fixtures

/n
Vacuum gutter cleaning and inspections

/n
Lawn mowing, edging, brush cutting, hedging, pruning and weeding

/n
Green-waste, household and general rubbish removal

/n
Pressure cleaning and external property maintenance

/n
Taking explicit before-and-after photographs

/n
Following company safety procedures

/n
Leaving every property clean, tidy and safe

/n

About you /n

/n




Relevant handyman, property-maintenance, gardening, gutter cleaning or rubbish-removal experience

/n
The ability to work safely and efficiently both independently and within a team

/n
The physical fitness required for outdoor work, manual handling and rubbish removal

/n
Confidence using hand tools, power tools, gardening machinery and gutter-cleaning equipment

/n
Strong reliability, punctuality and attention to detail

/n
The ability to manage an allocated schedule

/n
Good communication and customer-service skills

/n
A respectful approach when working with older people, people with disabilities and other vulnerable clients

/n
A National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or a willingness to obtain them

/n
