Casual Registered or Enrolled Nurse - Townsville /n

Townsville GP Superclinic is looking for an additional casual nurse to join our friendly team and work collaboratively with the GPs, allied health specialists, and support staff to provide high-quality, integrated care for our patients.

While experience is preferred, we valueattitude and cultural fitabove all else. We are excited to provide comprehensive training and mentorship for a passionate new nurse ready to grow with our team.

The Role: We offer a high-volume casual roster (3 to 4 shifts, approx. 22.5 to 37.5 hours/week ). We are looking for nurses who embrace flexibility across our operating hours:

Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30PM

/n

/n

Thurs: 8:00 AM – 9:30PM

/n

/n

Sat & Sun: 9:00AM – 5:00PM

/n

/n

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

/n

/n

/n
/n
Triage, emergency response, immunisations, ECGs, spirometry, and audiograms

/n
/n
Assisting GPs with surgical procedures, excisions, and wound management

/n
/n
Infection control, sterilisation, immunisations, and vaccinations

/n
/n
Health assessments, chronic disease care plans, and health coaching

/n




/n
Managing eHealth, patient reminders, and treatment room coordination.

/n
/n
Supporting Enrolled Nurses (applicable for Registered Nurse position)

/n

/n

/n

/n

The successful applicant must have:

Current AHPRA General Registration and Skilled Indemnity Insurance

/n
/n
Full Australian working rights

/n
/n
Excellent time management and multi-tasking ability

/n
/n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

/n
/n
A solution-focused approach with exceptional interpersonal skills

/n
/n
Ability to follow policies and procedures

/n
/n
Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

/n
/n
Previous nursing experience in an Australian General Practice setting

/n
/n
Proficiency in Best Practiceor similar Medicare clinical software

/n
/n
Experience or qualifications in immunisations, care plans, and health assessments

/n

/n

/n

/n

Remuneration is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
