Ultratest Pty Ltd are now hiring experienced NDT technicians.

/n

Positions are now available to work in a well-established, NATA accredited NDT and inspection company, within the Melbourne area.

/n

Experienced NDT technicians /n

/n
Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 multi sector.

/n
Ultrasonic Testing Level 2 Welds

/n

Requirements for NDT technician /n

/n
Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in relevant discipline

/n
An understanding of NATA requirements

/n
Experience in an In-service inspection workplace

/n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

/n
High attention to detail and safety

/n
Other certifications (PAUT, ET, PT, VT) & welding supervisor cert 10 will be an advantage.

/n
Must have driver’s license.

/n
Must live in Australia or have a valid work visa.

/n




Excellent Communication and Computer skills

/n
Construction Industry /"White Card”

/n

Desirable Requirements (not essential): /n

/n
Elevated work platform (WP) high risk license

/n
Confined space and working at heights within the last 2 years

/n
RIW Card (Rail Industry Worker)

/n

Key Responsibilities /n

/n
To carry out inspections according to specifications and best technical practice.

/n
Maintaining & capturing records of results.

/n
Work independently alongside a small team.

/n
Comply with the requirements of the company's quality system.

/n
Interpret NDT codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.

/n

/n

Wages/Incentives are negotiable on amount of experience and certifications held.

/n
