The role supports safe, high-quality, person-centred care through clinical governance, quality improvement, and compliance activities, working closely with the General Manager, Care Manager, and Care Coordinator (where applicable) to ensure alignment with organisational policies, professional standards, and aged care regulatory requirements.This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday and operates as a supernumerary clinical role, providing leadership and oversight of quality, risk, and compliance systems across the service.
The position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting best-practice clinical care, and ensuring the organisation maintains compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.This opportunity is suited to an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about clinical excellence, quality outcomes, and enhancing the wellbeing of older people.No two days are the same!
As Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator you will:Provide clinical oversight to ensure care delivery aligns with best practice, legislation, and organisational standardsConduct clinical audits and reviews to monitor care quality, compliance,



and resident outcomesSupport continuous improvement initiatives and implement strategies to address identified gaps or risksEnsure readiness for accreditation and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirementsReview resident clinical records and support complex care assessments, case reviews, and high-risk resident monitoringAssist with incident management, investigations, risk mitigation, and preventative action planningProvide clinical guidance, mentorship, and education to nursing and care teams to strengthen capability and best practiceMonitor clinical systems, documentation, and data integrity to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of care activitiesAbout YouYou'll thrive with us if you have:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseDemonstrated experience in residential aged care and advanced clinical assessment skillsStrong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, and compliance requirementsExperience conducting clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and accreditation preparationHigh-level clinical documentation, review, and care planning skillsExperience supporting incident management, risk assessment, and corrective action processesStrong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills with the ability to support and guide staffProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and clinical software systemsAs a not-for-profit you can reduce your tax by salary packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, bills, rent, mortgage and groceries.
