Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machineryDiagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faultsTroubleshoot automated manufacturing equipmentCarry out equipment servicing, repairs and adjustmentsRespond to breakdowns to minimise production downtimeAssist with continuous improvement and maintenance projectsMaintain a secure and compliant working environmentWork closely with production and other maintenance team members
About You




We are open to candidates from either an electrical or mechanical background.You will ideally have:
Trade qualification as an Electrician or Mechanical FitterPrevious experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food productionStrong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skillsExperience with preventative and breakdown maintenanceThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA proactive approach to identifying and resolving equipment issuesStrong commitment to safety and quality
Electrical candidates: PLC, sensors, motors, VSDs and automated machinery experience would be advantageous.Mechanical candidates: Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and production machinery would be highly regarded.
