They are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to take ownership of the HSE function and drive the business towards best-in-class safety performance.This is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the Directors and Board, with responsibility across the wider business rather than a single site.The RoleLead the HSE function and a small team of two direct reportsDevelop and drive the overall HSE strategy and continuous improvementReport to the Directors and Board on HSE performance, risks, trends and KPIsManage workers compensation, injury management and complex case managementLiaise with insurers, doctors and other stakeholders through to final settlementLead incident investigations and corrective actionsManage HSE systems, legislation, quality and complianceMonitor ICAM/ICAMS, safety statistics,



rates and industry benchmarksWork closely with HR on workers comp and complex employee mattersProvide high-level HSE advice and challenge senior leadership where requiredTravel to the Pilbara approximately once a month to support regional operationsAbout YouWe are looking for a senior HSE skilled with 10+ years' experience who can operate confidently at an executive level.You will ideally have:Senior HSE Management experience within mining, quarrying, resources, civil or another high-risk industryStrong knowledge of WHS legislation and workers compensationProven experience managing complex injury and workers comp casesStrong incident investigation and HSE systems experienceExperience with ICAM/ICAMS, reporting, statistics and safety ratesBoard and senior leadership reporting experienceStrong strategic and continuous improvement capabilityThe confidence and credibility to influence the highest levels of the businessA genuine drive to take an existing HSE function and push it towards best-in-classExperience with a Tier 1 mining company or major quarrying/resource operation would be highly regarded.If you're a senior HSE professional looking for a role where you can shape strategy, influence the Board and genuinely improve the overall HSE function, I'd be keen to have a confidential conversation.
