FIFO from Anywhere in Australia | 7:7 Roster | Broken Hill, NSWVolley Recruit is currently seeking experienced Underground Heavy Diesel Mechanics for an ongoing opportunity in Broken Hill, NSW.WHAT'S ON OFFERFIFO from anywhere in Australia7 days on / 7 days off roster (Negotiable)Flights , Accommodation and Meals providedTHE ROLEWorking iin a Hardrock mining workplace , You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a fleet of underground mining and heavy mobile equipment, helping maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime.Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenanceMechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical fault findingUnderground breakdown repairsComponent change-outs including engines, transmissions, pumps and cylindersEquipment inspections and defect identificationReading hydraulic/electrical schematics and OEM manualsTesting and returning equipment safely to productionWorking closely with operators, auto electricians and the maintenance teamFollowing strict isolation,



risk assessment and WHS proceduresABOUT YOUYou will need:Recognised Australian Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant / Mechanical Trade QualificationRelevant High Risk licences and tickets (HR Licence)Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skillsAbility to work underground and rotating day/night shiftsStrong safety record and commitment to safe work practicesAbility to pass a medical and drug & alcohol screenHIGHLY DESIRABLEExperience with:CAT underground equipment, Sandvik, Epiroc / Atlas CopcoUnderground hard-rock miningUnderground loaders, trucks and boggersOEM machine-specific trainingAuto-electrical diagnosticsWHY APPLY?
