An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mechanical Coordinator to join a major resources maintenance project in Perth.
This is a predominantly office-based position, supporting ongoing maintenance activities across multiple operational facilities.
The role will focus on reviewing SMP work scopes, developing work packs, estimating labour and resources, and ensuring maintenance scopes are effectively prepared for execution.
There will also be ad hoc site travel as required.

Reviewing structural, mechanical and piping work scopesDeveloping detailed work packs for maintenance activitiesCreating job cards and work ordersEstimating labour hours for planned SMP scopesDetermining required trades and execution resourcesPlanning boilermaker, rigger and scaffolding requirementsReviewing structural and piping repair requirementsSupporting maintenance planning and execution readinessUtilising SAP S/4HANA for work management activitiesCoordinating information across multidisciplinary project teamsIdentifying resource requirements and potential execution constraints
About You
Strong SMP maintenance or work management experienceMechanical Coordinator, Planner or Estimator experienceStrong understanding of structural and piping repairsExperience developing work packs and job cardsDemonstrated labour and resource estimation experienceStrong knowledge of maintenance execution requirementsSAP S/4HANA or similar SAP experienceUnderstanding of work order management processesAbility to interpret SMP scopes and technical informationStrong stakeholder and multidisciplinary coordination skillsResources, mining, oil & gas or heavy industry experience
A Boilermaker trade background would be highly regarded, particularly where combined with planning, estimating or work management experience.
