You'll play a key role in maintaining fleet reliability, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring the workshop operates safely and efficiently.Supervise the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance,



and repair across a variety of fleet vehicles(prime movers, rigids, trailers).
Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system faults.Plan, prioritize, and allocate daily tasks to mechanics and service technicians.Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and inventory of spare parts.Ensure accurate completion of maintenance and repair documentationLead, mentor, and supervise workshop employees.Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.What You'll BringMechanical Trade Qualification with advanced mechanical knowledgeDemonstrated experience leading workshop or maintenance teamsStrong ability to plan workloads, prioritise tasks, and drive productivityProven capability to mentor, develop, and motivate team membersCommitment to fostering a positive, high-performing team cultureExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsStrong focus on safety, compliance, and quality workmanshipHR and Forklift Licences highly regardedCandidates must be currently residing in Australia or have full Australian working rights to be considered.Ready to lead a high-performing workshop team?
