As a Business Development Manager, you'll be the key link between Westpac and our mortgage broker partners - ensuring that they understand and trust our value proposition and actively promote Westpac to their clients.
You'll work closely with a core group of active brokers whilst tapping into a broader opportunity pool, ultimately holding responsibility for broker NPS and settlement targets through the management and maintenance of these relationships!
Key responsibilities:Manage and expand an active broker portfolioDevelop strong broker relationships whilst providing policy and product education as well as coaching on loan structuringTroubleshoot pipeline issues, assist in mobilising deals through the credit process and provide solutions / escalations for complex scenariosHost and attend networking events including webinars, coffee clusters and broker development daysCreate business plans, hold regular strategy catch-ups and maintain a rolling applications pipelineWhat do I need?
Experience in a Business Development Manager, Credit Assessor,



Broker or Lender roleExperience / networks in the Home Lending / Broker spaceComfortable and flexible to attend / host networking events - both in-person and virtuallyThe ability to work autonomously, manage a fast-paced pipeline and achieve set targetsSkilled in developing mutually beneficial relationships with external partnersResilience, energy, enthusiasm, passion!
