You'll report to the General Manager, and a Facility Supervisor for each facility will report to you.In this role, you will:Lead daily operations and maintenance so our facilities stay reliable and run at maximum utilisationManage the maintenance, reliability and availability of all fixed and mobile plant and equipmentRespond to critical breakdowns and coordinate repairs to get plant back onlinePlan and deliver plant upgrade, replacement and capital works projectsManage contractors,



suppliers and quotes to keep work safe, on budget and to standardKeep all maintenance and project work compliant with safety systems, legislation and TDG proceduresManage maintenance and project budgets, and lead and mentor the maintenance teamThis is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who combines strong operational and maintenance expertise with the ability to lead teams, manage projects and drive continuous improvement.About YouTo succeed in this role, you'll bring:Tertiary qualifications in business or a related field, or an engineering / maintenance trade background, specifically with chemical dosing and waste wash plantsProven experience leading and developing teamsExperience in liquid processing plant operations and reliability planningStrong strategic planning skills and the ability to take ownership of approved initiativesSound knowledge of identifying and controlling safety and business risks in maintenanceA track record of improving output through better equipment performance and reliabilityExcellent leadership, business acumen and problem-solving skillsDiversity & InclusionAs part of the TDG Environmental group, Mainstream Recycling is building an inclusive, diverse workforce where everyone feels respected and supported.
