Shape what's next for mission-critical government projects while shaping what's next for your engineering career.MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Tier 3 Metrology Technician, the work you'll do at GDIT supports the mission of our customer.Develops and maintains metrology policies and procedures and ensures they support customer mission requirements and objectives.Manages the development and administration of metrology schedule and calibration requirements; may have budget responsibilities.Keeps well-informed of new metrology technologies and industry best practices and trends and then plans and advises for implementation.Familiar with American National Standards for Calibration including ANSI/NCSL Z540, ANS/ISO/IEC *****Maintains knowledge of relevant Metrology/PMEL techniques and Calibration laboratory practicesProficiency in the use of MS Office suite and familiarity of Fluke MET/Team, Fluke MET/CAL, Keysight TME,
