You will work with industry leading equipment including ADCPs, water quality skills in hydrography, environmental monitoring and data management.Whether you are troubleshooting a monitoring station, surveying river cross-sections, collecting groundwater samples, or analysing complex environmental datasets,



you will be part of a team delivering meaningful outcomes for some of Australia's most significant environmental projects.Under the guidance of the Regional Manager, you will –Conduct field based environmental monitoring of surface and groundwater systemsCollect, analyse, and report streamflow and water quality dataInstall and maintain hydrometric stations and instrumentationPerform site surveys, discharge measurements, and cross-sectional profiling using ADV's and ADCP'sManage data using platform such HYDSTRA, ESDAT and CampbellsEnsure compliance with OH&S; protocols and maintain high data quality standardsCoordinate with laboratories and stakeholders throughout project lifecyclesRequired Skills and ExperienceExperienced in groundwater / surface water monitoringEnrolled in or completed a Diploma in Water Operations or Bachelor of Environmental Science (or similar)Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with hydrological softwareSkilled in using SDI-12 and 4-20mA instrumentationA strong communicator with excellent time management and self-motivationWilling to travel including overnight staysCertified in First Aid and CPRCurrent drivers licence (4x4 driving certification and experience – desirable)About VentiaAs a leading services provider, we maintain, operate, and manage the essential infrastructure that makes modern life possible across Australia and New Zealand.
