We're partnering with a large, complex enterprise environment to engage an experienced Test Analyst to deliver high-quality outcomes across a major platform initiative.
This role blends strong functional testing capability with technical testing expertise across APIs, automation frameworks, integrations, and data migration.
You'll work closely with delivery teams and business stakeholders to plan and execute end-to-end test activities, contribute to continuous improvement in quality engineering practices, and support release confidence across multiple environments.Key responsibilitiesPlan, design, execute and report on testing activities across complex ICT initiativesDeliver functional, system, integration, regression, end-to-end and release testingValidate interfaces, integrations and business processesPerform API testing and support integration validationSupport data migration testing, reconciliation and validationBuild and maintain automated regression suites using contemporary tools and approachesInvestigate defects and perform root cause analysis across application + database layersWork within modern delivery practices including CI/CD workflowsMandatory requirementsRelevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent industry experienceISTQB Foundation (or equivalent)Recent experience across functional, system integration, regression,



end-to-end testing in complex environmentsExperience with API testing tools (e.g., ReadyAPI, Postman or equivalent)Robust technical testing skills including SQL-based validation and reconciliationWorking knowledge of tools/practices such as Azure DevOps (or equivalent), Jira/Xray, Git, CI/CD-supported testingHighly desirableTest automation / BDD experience with tools such as Karate, REST Assured, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber (or similar)Cloud solution testing + environment verification / release validationRelational and NoSQL data validation experience (e.g., PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB or similar)Migration rehearsals, cutover support, smoke testing and post-deployment validationScripting with Python, JavaScript (or similar)Familiarity with AI-assisted testing and up-to-date quality engineering approachesLocation -Brisbane CBDHybrid – minimum 50% onsite (CBD or Carseldine as required).
