About The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in clinical governance, quality and compliance?
Respect is seeking a Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator to join the team at Killean Residential Aged Care in Inverell, New South Wales.
This is a senior Registered Nurse position focused on supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care through strong clinical governance, continuous improvement and compliance practices.
The role works under the direction of the General Manager and Care Manager and collaborates closely with the broader clinical team.
You will have the opportunity to maintain a strong clinical focus while supporting resident outcomes through clinical oversight, quality and risk management, staff capability and ensuring care systems and documentation meet the required standards.
About The Role:

Monitoring and evaluating clinical care against best practice, legislation and organisational standardsConducting clinical audits across care plans, progress notes, medication, wounds, falls and behavioursIdentifying gaps in care and supporting improvement strategiesMonitoring quality indicators and clinical outcomesReviewing resident clinical records and supporting complex clinical assessmentsMonitoring high-risk residents and clinical deteriorationSupporting compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirementsMaintaining audit and accreditation readinessSupporting clinical incident investigations and preventative strategiesProviding clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing and care staffImproving documentation, clinical practice and staff capabilityMonitoring clinical systems, overdue tasks, alerts and data integrity.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor of NursingCurrent AHPRA registrationDemonstrated experience in residential aged careAdvanced clinical knowledge and assessment skillsStrong understanding of the Aged Care Quality StandardsExperience in clinical governance, audits and quality improvementHigh-level documentation and clinical review skillsStrong communication and interpersonal capabilityConfidence using Microsoft applications and clinical software systems.Experience in accreditation or audit processes, clinical education or mentoring, incident investigation and risk management will be highly regarded.
