The City of Melville is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Customer Service Officers to join our LeisureFit team.As the first point of contact for members and visitors, you'll help create exceptional customer experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of our vibrant leisure centres.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a community-focused organisation, work in a dynamic recreation environment, and contribute to the health and wellbeing of our residents.Location: City of Melville LeisureFit CentresSalary: LFCS $***** to $***** p/h + 12% SuperEmployment Type: CasualWhat You'll Be DoingAs a Customer Service Officer, you will deliver exceptional service to members and visitors across our LeisureFit centres while providing valuable administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Key responsibilities include:Providing friendly, qualified and responsive customer serviceAssisting customers with memberships, programs, facilities and servicesPromoting LeisureFit products and services to current and prospective membersManaging cash handling, reconciliations and banking proceduresResponding to enquiries through the membership's inboxMaintaining a welcoming, clean and well-presented reception and public areasSupporting merchandise sales and stock controlPerforming data entry and administrative tasks as requiredWhat We're Looking ForYou are a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people and delivering positive outcomes.
You possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude,



and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.To be successful, you will have:Excellent customer service and communication skillsStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesCurrent Senior First Aid CertificateCurrent CPR CertificateCurrent National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain oneExperience in a customer service environmentCash handling and reconciliation experienceExperience using databases or customer management systemsCustomer service or complaint management trainingWhy The City of Melville?
