As a Residential Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for a Residential Care home, ensuring residents receive exceptional care in a safe, welcoming and values-driven setting.

This is a full-time leadership opportunity based at Rushcutters Bay, working Monday to Friday between 9:00am to 5:00 pm.
As a Residential Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of a Residential Care home.
Working closely with the Regional Manager, Care Manager and operational leaders, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, strong financial performance, regulatory compliance and exceptional resident experiences.
Resident Care & Clinical Excellence
Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care that supports dignity, choice and wellbeingOversee clinical outcomes, care planning and quality standards across the homeSupport the delivery of exceptional resident and family experiences
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team including clinical, operational and support services staffSupport workforce capability through coaching, performance management and professional development
Operational & Financial Management




Manage operational resources to achieve financial, occupancy and service delivery targetsManage resource planning and operational performance
Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
Lead quality improvement initiatives and accreditation readiness activitiesEnsure robust risk, safety and compliance frameworks are maintainedMonitor incidents, trends and performance indicators to support continuous improvement
Resident & Family Engagement
Build trusted relationships with residents, families and representativesEnsure feedback is responded to effectively and used to improve service delivery
What You'll Bring
You are an experienced aged care leader with a passion for delivering outstanding resident outcomes and building high-performing teams.
What's Required
3-5+ years of strong clinical experience as a registered nurse with mental health work is required3+ years of proven leadership experience in a senior management or operational leadership role3-5 + years of experience managing a large workforceStrong understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation and regulatory requirementsExperience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing workforce performanceExperience supporting residents with dementia, mental health conditions, schizophrenia and high physical support needs
