This is a Business Development role focused on growing revenue across a select portfolio of Tier 1 customers within the building, construction and infrastructure sector.As Business Development Manager, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, drawn from Kennards Hire's top customer base.
Your role is to deepen relationships, win new business and grow existing accounts and deliver structured, solution-led growth.About the RoleYou will be responsible for driving growth across a defined portfolio of major accounts, balancing executive-level engagement and operational personnel.
Key responsibilities include:Managing and growing a portfolio of Tier 1 customer accountsIncreasing wallet share through targeted, solution-led engagementBuilding strong relationships across all stakeholder levels, from site teams to senior executivesDelivering boardroom-level presentations on capability, solutions and value propositionDeveloping and executing customer-specific growth plans aligned to sales strategyManaging a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across the WA regionPartnering with internal teams to ensure customer commitments can be delivered operationallyProviding input into pricing,



forecasts and account planningMaintaining strong CRM discipline and portfolio managementAbout YouProven experience managing major or Tier 1 customer accountsDemonstrated boardroom and senior stakeholder presentation experienceStrong communication skills with the ability to flex style between executive and operational audiencesA solutions-led approach to sales, rather than transactional sellingSolid commercial acumen and confidence discussing value, not just priceExperience in construction, infrastructure or a related industry (highly regarded)This role is not suited to junior BDMs or candidates without executive presentation exposureWhy Join the Kennards Hire Family?
