Babylon Data is seeking experienced Functional Automation Test Analysts to support a major government digital transformation program.

The Role
You will join an established testing practice supporting an inflight digital portal program focused on improving customer experience, streamlining business processes and enabling more efficient regulatory service delivery.
You will be expected to quickly understand current systems and business processes, manage testing across multiple concurrent projects and become productive within a short onboarding period.
Your responsibilities will include:
Analysing business and technical requirementsDesigning test strategies, scenarios, cases and supporting test dataConducting UI, functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testingTesting Dynamics 365, Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse solutionsDeveloping and maintaining automated UI regression test suitesAutomating API, integration and authentication-flow testingIntegrating automated tests into Azure DevOps build and release pipelinesManaging defects through investigation, documentation, retesting and closureMaintaining test evidence, traceability, reporting and quality metricsSupporting end-to-end validation of complex business processesWorking collaboratively with developers, business analysts,



product owners and other delivery specialistsMoving between projects, platforms and testing phases as priorities change
Applicants must demonstrate:
Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps or DataverseStrong experience across UI, functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testingExperience designing, developing and maintaining automated UI test suites using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or a comparable frameworkAPI and integration test automation experience using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing or similar toolsExperience testing APIs, backend integrations, authentication flows and Dataverse-based servicesExperience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automatic execution during build and release processesProficiency with Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, source control, test management, defect management and reportingSound knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practicesThe ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and contribute effectively within multidisciplinary teamsA current Baseline security clearanceISTQB Test Automation Engineer certification or a comparable qualificationIn-depth testing of Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform or Power BI solutionsTesting of server-side or plugin logic, environment variables, secrets, custom APIs or API Management policiesExperience using Jira or similar test and defect management platforms
