Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprenticeship **** (B1.1)
The Field Air Group is seeking a talented and committed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice (B1.1) to join our team in Mitchell Park, VIC from January 4th ****.
This is an exciting full-time apprenticeship opportunity within the aircraft engineering industry, offering you the chance to develop specialised skills in aircraft maintenance and support.
As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers to gain practical, hands-on experience in maintaining and servicing aircraft systems whilst completing your formal qualifications.
This role is fundamental to ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft operations, and you will play a vital part in our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of aviation maintenance.
Key responsibilities
Performing routine maintenance, and inspections under the supervision of qualified engineers
Following technical manuals, maintenance schedules and work instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately and safely
Maintaining detailed maintenance records and documentation for all work performed on aircraft systems
Ensuring compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations and organisational safety procedures at all times
Participating in on-the-job training and formal classroom instruction to achieve your apprenticeship qualifications
Contributing to a collaborative maintenance team environment and supporting colleagues as required

About the Opportunity
Field Air's maintenance division covers a wide range of activities including both piston and turbine aircraft in the agricultural, firefighting and general aviation sectors.
There is also scope at certain times of the year to be actively involved in the field support of our aircraft in both the aerial agricultural and aerial firefighting sectors.
This year our maintenance team will provide Air Tractor maintenance support around Australia as well as customer support in locations such as New Zealand, Greece, Indonesia and China.
Hours of Work
This role is advertised as a full-time position on a Monday to Friday basis with the typical work day from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am to 2:30pm Friday from the 4th January ****.
