About the Chance
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a global leader in mining to source multiple Environmental Specialists / Technicians for positions across Central Queensland.
These roles are being offered on an initial contract through to March ****, with the possibility of extension, primarily to support operations throughout the wet season.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct environmental sampling and monitoring (primarily water sampling) in accordance with site and regulatory standards
Maintain and calibrate environmental monitoring and sampling equipment
Prepare and dispatch samples to accredited laboratories
Perform accurate data entry and validation, assisting with internal and external reporting
About You
Experience in environmental sampling and monitoring
Proven ability in the maintenance and calibration of environmental equipment
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Mine site water release experience
Coal mining experience with active Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
Environmental management qualification or relevant tertiary studies
Experience with sample preparation, dispatch, and data management
Ability to work autonomously in a field-based environment (previous mine site driving experience highly regarded)

Open to applicants from both Specialist and Technician levels, with rates commensurate with experience
