About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced HSE Advisor to support their operations in Queenstown, Eastern Cape .
This role is critical for ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the Oil & Gas industry .
You will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, delivering training, and investigating incidents to promote a strong safety culture.
Your dedication to maintaining the highest HSE standards will be paramount in protecting our workforce and the environment, requiring a consistent on-site presence to effectively manage safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures across operational sites.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Perform risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement control measures.
Investigate HSE incidents, near misses, and accidents, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions.




Deliver HSE training programs to employees and contractors.
Maintain HSE records and documentation, including emergency response plans.
Requirements
National Diploma or Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer/Advisor in the Oil & Gas sector.
Knowledge of relevant South African HSE legislation and industry best practices.
Certification such as SAMTRAC or NEBOSH is highly advantageous.
Experience in developing and delivering safety training.
Solid communication, interpersonal, and incident investigation skills .
