Job Overview Responsibilities • Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, and storage areas • Assist chefs during service when required • Take out rubbish and keep waste areas clean • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times • Support the team during busy service periods • Ensure kitchen is clean and organised at the end of each shift Skills • Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred (training provided) • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking • Good teamwork and communication skills • Ability to follow instructions and kitchen procedures • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods • Must have the right to work in Australia Benefits • Hourly rate: $28 - $35 per hour (based on experience) • Flexible roster - part-time or casual available • Friendly and supportive team environment • Staff meals or staff discount • On-the-job training provided • Prospect to grow within the business
