You'll initially be based in the workshop before transitioning into a field service role, working on a wide range of civil and mining equipment.What's on OfferCompetitive hourly ratesMonday to Friday roster with optional Saturday workWorkshop-based role transitioning into field serviceOngoing employment with a reputable civil contractorOpportunity to work on a diverse fleet of heavy equipmentAbout the RoleAs an Auto Electrician, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile equipment, ensuring machinery is maintained to the highest safety and reliability standards.Your duties will include:Implementing maintenance schedules of company-owned plant, fixed and mobile crushers and screens and light vehicles.




Diagnosing and repairing electrical faultsConducting preventative maintenance and servicingElectrical diagnostics and troubleshootingRepairing and replacing wiring, sensors, lighting and electrical componentsPreparing equipment for mobilisation to siteCompleting service reports and maintenance documentationResponsible for ensuring completion of repairs, service and maintenance jobs according to schedule.
Coordinate any emergency, delayed or potentially delayed repair and maintenance jobs.Manage the procurement of parts required for the service, repair and maintenance jobs.About YouTrade qualification as an Auto ElectricianPrevious experience working on civil, construction and/or mining equipmentStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCurrent Australian Driver's Licence
