This wide-ranging and rewarding role supports community safety and positive relationships across the district as a Community Ranger with the Environmental Services team.
Key responsibilities
Community engagement and education
Compliance inspections and investigations
Animal and stock control activities
Fire prevention inspections and enforcement
Responding to enquiries and complaints and undertaking enforcement action where required
Participation in roster, after hours and on weekends

Ability to engage effectively with the community
Ability to apply legislation and policies consistently
Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgement and initiative
