Front of House Staff, Full Season, Live-in: The Sir George, Jugiong NSW
The Sir George at Jugiong is hiring four to six front-of-house staff for the full ******* season: first on the floor in October, through to Anzac Day, 25 April ****.
The roles are casual, but we are asking for a full-season commitment and full availability, and prioritising people who can give it.
For the right two, the role can become permanent when the season ends.
The pub is a restored ****s hotel on the Murrumbidgee, with luxury rooms in the old stone stables and barns.
On a positive-weather weekend it seats more than 400.
From November the trade is functions and dining, and Easter is the last big rush.
Shifts run from 10 or 11 through to close, around 30 to 35 hours a week for the whole season, and the roster aims for two days off together.
You will need a current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card and front-of-house experience on a busy bar or floor.
Bar experience is preferred; cocktails can be taught.
Pay is $***** an hour, Hospitality Award Level 2 casual, with weekend and public holiday penalties and superannuation on top.
A private room in staff housing is $150 a week.
Working holiday makers are welcome if you can commit to the full season.




Jugiong does not count toward the 88 days for a second-year visa.

About you

Proven ability to work in a regional or remote area such as a station or lodge highly preferred
Cocktail experience not required (can be taught)

$***** an hour (Hospitality Award Level 2 casual), plus weekend and public holiday penalties and 12% superannuation
Private room in staff housing, $150 a week
The roster aims for two consecutive days off; shifts run 10 or 11 to close with an hour's break
Working holiday makers welcome for the full season; the job does not count toward the 88 days
Nearest towns about 40 km, Canberra and Wagga Wagga about 120 km; a car helps
