Job Description
HORTICULTURALIST / GROUNDSKEEPER – TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN
We're looking for an experienced, practical and self-motivated Horticulturalist / Groundskeeper to maintain and progressively improve our acreage property on Tamborine Mountain.
Hours can be flexibly worked across 2–4 days per week by agreement.
Key responsibilities
Care and maintenance of extensive established ornamental gardens
Pruning, planting, fertilising, weed control and plant health
Planning and developing new ornamental garden areas
Plant selection and soft landscaping
Irrigation and soil management
General acreage and grounds maintenance
Minor handyman, fencing and irrigation repairs
Some mowing/whipper snipping as required, although this is not primarily a mowing role
About you
Robust horticultural and plant knowledge
An eye for garden design and presentation
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Formal horticultural or landscaping qualifications highly regarded, but strong practical experience and knowledge equally important
Current driver's licence
Reliable transport
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
